I am happy to have had the opportunity to DJ Rosie’s quinceañera at the BelaRosa Banquet Hall in Orlando, Florida. Also, known as a sweet 15, a quinceañera is an important event that marks the time of a girl turning into a woman. This event was a lot of fun for me because almost all the music I played was Spanish so it was different from what I usually do and I got to play some songs I’ve never played before.
Plus, I got to perform at a new venue that’s near where I live. The venue looked really nice inside too. Just check out the entrance view from outside, shown in the photo below.
The venue is located in an industrial-looking area so you wouldn’t expect a beautiful event venue to be there. But it is! In the photo below you’ll see what it looks like from the inside, as someone enters the venue. They had the red carpet rolled out, literally.
But it doesn’t stop there. That was just the beginning. The whole room was glowing from the uplighting, as you can see in the photos below.
I think the room compliments my DJ booth very well. Hopefully you can see what I mean in the photo below, but it doesn’t do it justice, in my opinion.
After Rosie made her entrance, they went straight into a mother/daughter dance.
After the mother/daughter dance they held the shoe ceremony, where they exchange her old shoes for new, grown-up looking shoes.
Aside from the beautiful venue decor, they also had some pretty accessories for the occasion.
Of course, everyone had a lot of fun once the dance floor was open to everyone!
Check out the cold sparklers they put on the cake!
