Mariah & Zair were married on August 5, 2019 at the Oasis Club in Championsgate in Kissimmee, Florida, which is just ouside of Orlando. They hired me to DJ and I’m so glad they did! I truly appreciate every opportunity to make money doing something I love, such as DJing. But weddings are even more fulfilling because I know how much it means to the couple.
When they told me they didn’t think they were going to have me play music for their ceremony because their budget was tight (I charge $100 for a second audio setup for the ceremony and cocktail hour), I said “well I won’t let that happen. I’ll include it for free because I don’t like seeing my clients go without something crucial due to budget restraints.” If you’ve read my other blog posts featuring real weddings, you’ll see that that is how I operate. I try to go above and beyond for every client in some way, and they made it easy for me to figure out the best way to do so for them. Not only that, I took some pretty good photos too. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any of the ceremony but I did take some photos of the reception. Check them out below.
Wedding Photos at Oasis Club Championsgate
One of the reasons why I take photos of my events is to create content for my blog and social media pages, such as my Instagram page. That helps you (the reader) and me, but it also helps my clients because they get free photos. It’s a win-win for everyone! Besides, it’s easy for me. All I had to do was pick up my camera and take some photos of their first dance.

Here’s what the DJ booth looked like. They didn’t book my Gold package, which comes with lighting to illuminate the facade. But I still used a facade because it looks much nicer. Their wedding was mostly during the day so we didn’t really need the lighting much anyway.
The area surrounding the venue looked nice, including the water fountain below.
Their wedding cake looked great. I even at a cupcake, which is very rare.
You never know if the crowd is going to be lively and dance, but they almost always do.
