Wedding Planning Is The Key To A Smooth Running Wedding
We don’t just show up and play music at your wedding and home that you like. No. Best Choice DJs plays a huge role in helping you plan your wedding. We don’t do cookie-cutter weddings either. Every wedding is unique so we customize each wedding to the needs of the client. Pre-planning a wedding is one of the most important things you can do to ensure its success. Here’s how we do it.
Our Wedding Plan Template
Upon hiring me as a wedding DJ, I send the client two versions of a wedding plan template. You can view and/or download the pdf version here. The form is fillable so clients can fill in as much or as little as they want to. If nothing else, it gives them a good idea of how weddings typically go. They can see what is typically involved and start deciding on what songs they’d like to use for each part of the wedding. We even give a few popular suggestions for the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter removal.
There’s also a list of popular choreographed dance songs they can check off if they want those songs played at their wedding. There’s even 2 columns for them to add additional songs they want played. 1 column is for songs played during dinner and the other column is for dance songs.
One of the most useful parts of the wedding plan template is the section where clients can list the names of the wedding part as they’ll be announced during the Grand Entrance into the reception. I don’t create the order in which they’ll enter into the ceremony, so the ceremony is ommitted from the wedding plan template. If I am playing music for the ceremony, I just add on the songs to the wedding plan when we go over everything to finalize their wedding plan.
It’s nice having a copy of the wedding plan so clients can give it to their wedding planner so that everyone is on the same page. That way there’s no surprises and things run very smoothly.
